Clean Intent ("we", "our", or "the extension") is a browser extension that helps users clarify their prompts before sending them to AI chatbots. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

Data We Collect

When you use the "Clarify" feature, we process:

• Your prompt text - sent to our API to generate clarifying questions
• Your answers - used to create a refined prompt

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not store your prompts or conversations
• We do not collect personal information
• We do not track your browsing activity
• We do not use cookies or analytics
• We do not sell any data to third parties

How We Use Your Data

Your prompt is sent to our API server solely to:

• Analyze the prompt and generate clarifying questions
• Create a refined prompt based on your answers

This data is processed in real-time and is not stored after the request is complete.

Local Storage

The extension uses browser local storage only to save your preferences (like UI settings). This data never leaves your device.

Third-Party Services

Our backend API uses OpenAI and Anthropic services to process prompts. These services have their own privacy policies:
